Arethusa
1991
blue plaster, wood, copper, mosaic, mirrorwall.
At Stek, Rotterdam. The river god Alpheus was so in love with the waternimf Arethusa that he dug an underseas canal to mingle their waters. The floor is at an angle and the mirrors suggest that the water flows supwards at the other side.
